Today was one of those days where I BLEW it BIG TIME! I blame it on my Nanny. Yes, I am blaming it on my 82 year old grandmother. Her house is a fun house of food…. You walk in, and you instantly start shoving things in your mouth. My Aunt Arcelia is in town, and my Nanny would make them at least once for Arcelia sO I mentioned that it would be great if she would let me know what day she was making them, so I could come. And because my Nanny is so wonderful she did, so corn dog day was yesterday. Now homemade corn dogs may not seem all that special but that is because you haven’t had one. They are so great, I can’t even describe them…. But if you ask ANYONE in my family they will tell you they are AWESOME! I even posted pictures on facebook, and the mean spirit in me tagged my cousins and brother who live out of state and country in the photos just to rub in their face that I got to have them yesterday J On the Gluten front it was a fail too, not only does Nanny use corn meal but also flour. But I have to admit I do not regret my 435 calorie overage yesterday, it was worth it. The food was great and hanging out with my family was perfect.

I have promised that for this session of Boot Camp I would put my journal online. This is just to show that I really believe that tracking your food everyday is a very important element to losing weight. I also think it’s a great way to hold me accountable. Please understand I am human and I will have bad days. Also, I am not doing this so that people will eat what I eat. Everyone’s diet needs and taste are different you have to eat what works for you. At this time I am not eating Gluten, I gave it up for lent. (It has been really hard yall) and you will see I will blow that some days to. My max calorie intake should be 1450 calories a day and I should never eat below 1200. So here we go…..
